Cinnamon Bread
- 2 Cups Flour
- 1 Tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 Tsp Salt
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Softened Butter
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Cup Buttermilk
- 1 Tsp Vanilla
- 3 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
- Preheat Oven to 350F, grease or line an 8x4 pan.
- Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Mix and set aside.
- Cream together butter and sugar.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing as you go.
- Add buttermilk and vanilla.
- Add dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Combine brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Spread about a third of batter into pan. Sprinkle some brown sugar/cinnamon on top, then cover with more batter. Repeat until you reach the end, ending with the sugar mixture.
- Bake 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick/fork comes out clean.
- Cool 5 minutes
