-
Double Chocolate Nut Cookies
- 2 Cups Semisweet Chocolate Chips
- 2 Oz Unsweetened Chocolate
- 2 Tbsp Salted Butter
- 2 Eggs
- 2/3 Cup Sugar
- 1/4 Cup flour
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 Tsp Baking Powder
- 1 Cup Chopped Nuts (we used Walnuts, Pecans, and Almonds)
- Preheat Oven to 350F, grease or line cookie sheets.
- In a medium saucepan, combine 1 Cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips, Unsweetened Chocolte, and Butter. Stir and melt over low heat until completely melted.
- In a medium bowl, combine the chocolate-butter mixture and sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla.
- Add flour and baking powder, stir until completely mixed- it will be thinner than normal cookie dough.
- Add remaining cup of chocoolate chips and nuts.
- Drop dough in 1-Tbsp-ish portions onto cookie sheet- They don't have to be super spread out because these don't expand a whole bunch. Just make sure they don't touch.
- Bake 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are firm and the surfaces look dull and cracked. They'll seem a little undercooked but that's ok!
- Cool for 2 minutes.
- You're done :)
