Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
- 4 Overripe Bananas
- 1/2 Cup Softened, Unsalted Butter
- 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
- 2 Large Eggs
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 1/2 Cups Flour
- 1 Tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- Generous Amount of Cinnamon
- 1 Cup Chocolate Chips
- Preheat oven to 350F. Prepare a 9x5 pan.
- Mash the bananas and set aside.
- Cream together butter and sugars until fluffy.
- Add eggs, banana, and vanilla. Mix well.
- Sift the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt into the bowl and mix until just combined.
- Sprinkle and mix in cinnamon until the batter is noticably a bit more brown.
- Fold in 3/4 cups of chocolate chips.
- Put into the loaf pan, sprinkle remaining chocolate chips and some more cinnamon on top.
- Bake 50-60 minutes, or until a knife inserted comes out clean.
- Cool for 20 minutes.
