Named by combining 'Pluma' (feather) and 'Ferro' (iron). More importantly, movesets for most Pokemon in the older generations SUCK. This thing does not learn a steel-type move at all until level 49, which is beyond the level I was at when I beat the league because of how horrible the level scaling is in Gen 2.
