Ingredients
  • 1/2 Cup Butter, Softened
  • 1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/3 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 Tsp Vanilla
  • 1 1/2 Cup Flour
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 Tsp Cream of Tartar
  • 2 Extra Tbsp Sugar
  • A Lot of Cinnamon

Instructions
  • Cream together butter and sugars until fluffy.
  • Add egg and vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, baking soda, and cream of tartar.
  • Pour the dry ingredients into the wet ones and mix well.
  • Add cinnamon to batter until it is noticably more brown.
  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees while you let the dough rest for 30-60 minutes in the fridge.
  • Combine the extra sugar and cinnamon for topping.
  • Take a small handful- about 2 tablespoons?- of dough and roll it into a ball. Roll the ball in the cinnamon/sugar bowl and press it into an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • (Pressing it is important for shape. Make a little thumb indent.)
  • Bake cookies for 12-14 minutes.
  • They will seem undercooked this is fine they will continue to cook on the sheet once they're cooling out of the oven!
