Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
  • 4 Overripe Bananas
  • 1/2 Cup Softened, Unsalted Butter
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/2 Cups Flour
  • 1 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • Generous Amount of Cinnamon
  • 1 Cup Chocolate Chips

  • Preheat oven to 350F. Prepare a 9x5 pan.
  • Mash the bananas and set aside.
  • Cream together butter and sugars until fluffy.
  • Add eggs, banana, and vanilla. Mix well.
  • Sift the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt into the bowl and mix until just combined.
  • Sprinkle and mix in cinnamon until the batter is noticably a bit more brown.
  • Fold in 3/4 cups of chocolate chips.
  • Put into the loaf pan, sprinkle remaining chocolate chips and some more cinnamon on top.
  • Bake 50-60 minutes, or until a knife inserted comes out clean.
  • Cool for 20 minutes.
  • You're all done!
